When to go to Indonesia?

Located close to the equator, Indonesia has an equatorial climate with two distinct seasons: the dry season and the wet season. The best time to visit the country is generally between May and October, during the dry season. During this period, rainfall is lower and temperatures pleasant, making it easier to get around and enjoy tourist activities.

Here are some of the benefits of traveling to Indonesia during the dry season:

  • A milder climate: Temperatures are generally cooler and precipitation is less frequent, making outdoor activities more enjoyable.
  • Better visibility for diving: The dry season also offers better underwater visibility, ideal for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts.
  • Passable roads: Roads are generally in better condition during this time, making travel between different islands and tourist destinations easier.

That said, traveling to Indonesia in the off-season can also have benefits, such as lower prices on accommodation and transportation. However, it is important to keep in mind that some areas of the country may be more difficult to access due to heavy rain or flooding.
