You will be charmed by theBali's beaches or want to discover more of Indonesia?s long? It is possible to extend your stay to make the most of maximum. This new digitised procedure greatly simplifies the process for travellers.

Below you will find all the information you need to be able to extend your visa depending on the visa you currently hold. The processing fee is 39€ (+consular fees detailed below).

30-day E-Visa on arrival (formerly e-VOA)

In early 2023, Indonesia introduced a new electronic visa system to simplify entry procedures for travellers: the e-VOA (Electronic Visa On Arrival). This 30-day visa on arrival can be requested online before departure, allowing travellers to complete some of the formalities in advance. The procedure starts on the Internet and is completed on arrival in Indonesia, offering greater flexibility and considerable time savings for visitors. 

You can extend your e-visa on arrival for a further 30 days, allowing you to stay in Indonesia for a total of 60 days.

Since January 2023, thanks to the new e-VOA, you can pay for your extension directly online. To do this, you will need to log in to the account you have created on the authorities' website in order to complete the procedure, or go through our services, which will help you to obtain this 30-day extension. 

This application is usually processed quickly. Once approved, you will receive electronic confirmation that your visa has been extended for a further 30 days.

To extend your e-visa online, you can must be on site in Indonesia and have already passed 15 days in the area. Make sure you submit your application at least 7 days before your e-visa expires.

You will have to go to one of the immigration offices to extend your visa, where you will have to fill in a form and present your passport and your plane ticket, which certifies that you have left the country.

60-day tourist visa

The Tourist Visa allows you to stay in Indonesia for 60 days. It is possible to apply for an extension to stay for a further 60 days.

To extend your e-visa online, you can must be on site in Indonesia and have already passed 15 days in the area. Make sure you make your request between 15 and 7 days before your e-visa expires.

You can log in to the account you created on the website of the authorities in order to carry out the extension process. 

If you would like our team to carry out the process for you, you will need to provide us with the details of the account you created for your 60-day Tourist Visa application. 

If your visa was issued on arrival in Indonesia and not online, you will need to visit an immigration office.

Important information
If you don't want to apply for a 60-day tourist visa from the outset, or if you don't have the time (it takes around 1 week to issue), it is perfectly possible to apply for an e-visa on arrival for 30 days and then extend it for a further 30 days.
